Ribs Cook Off Fundraiser 2026 May 16th 12-4pm: Vendors, Ribs, Music and More
Spring Saturday at Bud’s Tavern — Come Hungry, Stay All Day
If you’re looking for something to do this spring, this is it. We’ve packed a full afternoon of food, music, and community into one event—and it all supports local food pantries.
Ribs Tasting
Sample ribs from 10 competing teams and cast your vote for the best of the day. Your $20 entry goes directly to Tri-Area Ministry Food Bank, Journey Ministry Food Bank, and Wake Forest Community Table.
Live Music
Kick back with great food and cold drinks while The Tone Merchants keep the energy going all afternoon.
Motorcycle Ride
Ride in with VEMA Raleigh for a charity run where 100% of proceeds go to the same local food pantries—and your $30 entry includes access to the ribs tasting. Registration begins at 9:30AM at Bud’s, with kickstands up at 11AM.
Vendor Market
Browse a variety of local vendors and support small businesses from around the community.
Bud’s Gear & Extras
Grab exclusive Bud’s merchandise, including Rib Cook-Off t-shirts and coffee mugs. Order a draft beer and take home a Bud’s pint glass as a souvenir.
